Sixteen Studies in White and Gold, 1900, Mrs. De Witt C. Owen, Dixon, Illinois.  Self-published booklet with the subtitle, “Being Sixteen Recipes for Cooking Eggs.”  Printed at the Office of The Tri-Weely Star, Dixon, Illinois.  Information about buying a booklet from Mrs. Dixon is printed on the front pages.

The booklet has a deeply embossed cover on textured paper with a few age spots.  12 pages in deep orange, each with two egg recipes per page.    Recipes are for creamed eggs, baked eggs. Beauregard Eggs, Eggs a La Suisse, Escalloped Eggs, Raw Eggs, Baked Eggs in Potato Cases, Egg Timbales, Curried Eggs, Eggs in Nests, and more.  Hinge on the cover page has been reinforced with clear librarian’s tape.  Pages are all clean and clear.    Rare booklet.  No other available on the Internet.
