Old-Time Recipes for Home Made Wines:  A true first edition, fourth impression of an exceedingly rare book, often reprinted book from 1909.  The full title is Old-Time Recipes for Home Made Wines, Cordials and Liqueurs from Fruits, Flowers, Vegetables, and Shrubs.  Compiled by Helen S. Wright.  This volume, as you can see from the title page, was published by Greenberg: Publisher.  The second and following impressions were published by The Page Company, Boston.  (You can see images of the second impression on the Haiti Trust website, here:    http://babel.hathitrust.org/cgi/pt?id=loc.ark:/13960/t3320ff0f;view=1up;seq=1)

156 pages.  The binding is absolutely sound.  The pages are all clean and clear.  The cover has some shelf wear and the corners are bumped.  Other than the shelf wear, this book is in mint condition.  If it was ever read, it was by a very careful reader with clean hands.  The recipes are clearly and invitingly written in a conversational tone.  Maybe I’ll try dandelion wine this spring!  I certainly have enough dandelions!
