Full title is “The Williamsburg Art of Cookery, or, Accomplish’d Gentlewoman’s Companion: Being a Collection of Upwards of Five Hundred of the Most Ancient and Approv’d Recipes in Virginia.” Written by Mrs. Helen Bullock. Published by Colonial Williamsburg, Inc., Richmond, Va. 276 pages. Rich brown calf cover in nearly as-if-new condition. Cover has extremely minor shelf wear. Corners are a bit bumped. Hinges are perfect. Binding is very tight. Spine cover is a bit loose at the front top. Pages are printed on rag paper and all are perfect. Apparently, no one actually read this cookbook. Now you can enjoy it. Or, you can give it to a really good friend. Wonderful gift!
