New Moosewood Cookbook, 1977, 1992, 2000: Mint condition, never used upgraded copy of the classic vegetarian cookbook, the New Moosewood Cookbook, revised and re-written by Molly Katzen and published by Ten Speed Press in 2000. Some cookbook revisions are done just to change minor flaws and make minor changes in recipes. Katzen revised the Moosewood Cookbook, re-writing all the original recipes to lessen the use of oil, butter, dairy products, and eggs. She presents new lowfat options, and she added about major new recipes, including lowfat salad dressings, sauces, and desserts. She also broadened the instructions accompanying the recipes, making them easier to follow, and included 16 pages of full-color food photography. 235 pages.
Again, this cookbook is in mint condition. Definitely gift quality. It was published to accompany Kazen’s television series.

At VintageCookbook.com we try to provide you with your mother’s cookbook! I know lots of current recipe bloggers write proudly that their recipes are “not from your mother’s cookbook.” We think the recipes in your mother’s cookbook provided food that was nutritious and warm and colorful and just plain yummy! We know that just looking at the cover of your mother’s Woman’s Home Companion Cook Book makes you feel good.
