Stated first edition, presumed first printing (none other in mentioned) of Julia Child’s second classic, written with Simone Beck and published by Alfred A. Knopf, Inc., New York, in 1970. This is the volume with Soups, Baking, Meats, Chicken, Charcuterie, Vegetables, and Desserts. An oversized volume with 555 pages, plus index. It lost its dust jacket. The book itself is in mint, as-if-new condition. Some fading of the color in the spine cover. Never used. Perfect gift! Definitely gift quality!
