Cover has a tiny bit of shelf wear, with one bottom corner being a little bent and with the spine cover a little worn. The pages–high quality and with clay coating–are completely clean and clear. Methods of canning are discussed, with many clear, brightly colored illustrations. It has recipes for canning vegetables, fruits and fruit juices, butters and marmalades, meats, fowl and sea food. The booklet also discusses the use of Crown manufactured Mason Caps and Lids.
