Book measures 21.5 x 14 cm. This is a scarce cocktail, wine, and etiquette book published with the permission of the Waldorf-Astoria. Includes a discussion of wines, as well as a description of the history and social importance of distilled spirits. Tipped in black and white photo of OSCAR, Host “Par Excellence” of the WaldorAstoria. Three full page illustrations of proper glassware. Original copper and black boards, heavily rubbed and soiled. Spine cover has shelf wear, too, but is still attached. Very difficult to find bar book.
