Balthazar Cookbook, 2003, First Edition, First Printing: Balthazar is a Soho, New York French restaurant opened by restaurateur Keith McNally and co-chefs Riad Nasr and Lee Hanson in 1997. This very high end cookbook features recipes for Moules a la Mariniere, Bouillabaisse, Coq au Vin, Cassoulet, Braised Short Ribs,, Blanquette de Veau, Macaroni Gratin, Creme Brulee, Chocolate Pot de Creme. The cookbook was published by Clarkson Potter/ Publisher, New York. It is a hard back book with the boards covered in red linen with the title inset onto the linen. The 260 clay-coated pages have many stylized photographs of food, the restaurant, and the people involved.

In this first edition, first printing copy, the pages are in perfect, as-if-new condition. The corners of the cover are bumped, otherwise it is in perfect condition. The binding is firm.
