Beautifully illustrated with wood block prints lithographs by William Thomas Woodward. First edition, presumed first printing, no other being mentioned. Hard cover cookbook with dust jacket. 208 pages. Dust jacket has some minor flaws and is now safely encased in Mylar. Book is in excellent vintage condition. Corners are bumped and base of spine cover rounded. Hinges are terfect. Binding is sound. Pages are completely clean and clear.
After Sidney Corbett was confined to a wheelchair, the Corbetts began writing a series of articles for the Detroit Sunday News, showing that life in a wheelchair could be lived to the fullest and be lots of fun. Lucy Corbett included chatty conversational recipes that she developed in her kitchen with THREE stoves. Long Windows came from those columns.
