Bucks Cooks: The Artists’ County, 1950

Bucks Cooks: The Artists’ County, 1950:  Fun cookbook with the subtitle “A Gourmet’s Guide to Estimable Comestibles with Pictures.”   Compiled by the Woman’s Auxiliary of Trinity Chapel, Solesbury, Pennsylvania in 1950.  This copy is from a later printing.  Illustrated by some of the many artists of Bucks County, Pennsylvania, including many lovely pen-and-ink sketches of historical sites.  Cardboard cover and plastic comb binding.  Pages are uniformly and lightly tanned.  Cover has a modest amount of shelf wear.  Pages are completely clean and clear of stains.  Cookbook has a neat final chapter called Specialties with some amazing recipes I’ve never seen before.
