The book itself has lightly tanned pages, but it has never been read. Mint condition. Definitely gift quality. The first part of the book is the beautifully written descriptions of the parts of the restaurant. Second are the recipe chapters for hors d’oeuvre, soups, egg dishes, fish, meat, fowl, and game, farinaceous, salads, sauces, vegetables, and desserts.
