First Edition, First Printing.  A picaresque tale of Florian, a restaurant owner and chef, on holiday from his Paris restaurant, travels the French countryside, going from stove to stove.  Recipes scattered through the narrative.  Published by Longmans, Green and Co., New York, in 1952.  Hard cover with dust jacket.  210 pages.  Dust jacket is a little dingy.  Book is in nearly mint condition.  Pages are lightly and evenly tanned.  Hinges are perfect.  Binding is solid.
