Description

Corby’s Presents Ten Superb Recipes, 1945. Nearly Mint Condition. 24-page booklet published by Jas. Barkley & Co., Peoria, Ill. in 1945. Uncommon collection of cocktail recipes. WorldCat locates one copy at University of California, Davis. Recipes are a mixed group, everything from spiked eggnog to the Tom Collins, martini, mint julep, and the Manhattan. I apol0gize for the quality of these images. I took them with the plastic sleeve still on, and that makes for a strange image. This booklet is in great condition. The stapled binding is perfect. Every page is clean and clear. The cover has some very faint blemishes, and the booklet has edgewear on the outside of the fold. The outside back is blank, where the booklet would normally be stamped with The name of a bar or a liquor distributor.
