Southern Cooking, Mrs. S. R. Dull, 1928, 1941: Near-mint condition copy of an absolutely classic cookbook cookbook, first published in 1928 by Grosset & Dunlap, New York. It was re-issued, without revision, in 1941, with an introduction by Hal M. Stanley.  Hard cover cookbook in mint condition. The dust jacket is here; it is in excellent vintage condition, now safely encased in Mylar. Binding is perfect. Pages are all clean and clear. 384 pages. All pages clean and clear. The 1928 and 1941 editions were illustrated by Lucina Wakefield. These illustrations were NOT included in the later editions. You can see why.

Mrs. Henrietta Dull, of Atlanta, Georgia, was the South’s outstanding culinary expert. She lectured and wrote about preparation of food “in the Southern way” for forty years.
