If New Orleans has the best cooking in the United States, and if Junior Leaguers can make a case for having the best recipes in their cities or regions, these recipes can’t be bettered. First half of the book has sketches of early plantation homes, plus two-page histories. Remainder of the book is luscious recipes. Book was never used, never read! Definitely gift quality!
