Description
Stephenson’s Apple Farm Restaurant Receipts: Copyright 1967. This copy from a later printing in 1974. Privately printed. Comfort food before there was comfort food! Stephenson’s Apple Farm Restaurant was at the corner of 40 Highway and Lee’s Summit Road, on the Stephenson family orchard grounds outside of Kansas City, Missouri. Plastic comb binding. Small booklet. 50 pages. Excellent vintage condition. Some shelf wear and minor staining. Back cover has “A Little About The Apple Farm Restaurant.” Binding is firm and pages are clean and clear.
This is a very difficult cookbook to find. There’s another one, Stephenson’s Restaurants Receipts: Old Family Secret Recipes, that’s also rather difficult to find, but MUCH easier than this one with the picture of the farm on the cover. In 25 years of selling old cookbooks, we’ve had probably six copies of Stephenson’s Restaurants Receipts. This is our first ever copy of Stephenson’s Apple Farm Restaurant Receipts.
