Picayune Creole Cook Book, thirteenth edition, printed in 1966, still with the recipes using wines and liquors customary before Prohibition. Published by the Times-Picayune Publishing Company, New Orleans. Original copyright 1901. This is a blue hard copy with an African American woman in scarf and apron stirring a mixing bowl. 438 pages. Clay coated pages. Dust jacket has some dings. Cover is in mint condition–not a bit of shelf wear. Cookbook hasn’t been never been opened, I think. Pages are all spotless.
