New Mexico Cow Belle Cook Book: Hard cover cookbook with 340 pages plus index in absolutely pristine condition. Some vendors claim that this cookbook was published in the 1950s, but that can’t be. There’s a reference to zip lock baggies in one recipe! And zip lock baggies were invented in 1968. So I’m guessing that New Mexico Cow Belle Cook Book is from the 1970s. It contains the collected cookbooks published by the 20 Cow Belle chapters in New Mexico. For example, the recipes in the first image here are from the Powderhorn Cowbells. The Powderhorn Cowbells had an amazing idea: they published a menu, then below it published all the recipes necessary to produce that meal.
Since the stated purpose of the New Mexico Cowbelles was (is?) to “promote beef,” the vast majority of these recipes are for main dishes featuring beef. If you need a good hamburger casserole recipe, this is YOUR cookbook! Again, pristine condition. Definitely gift quality.
