Miss Delphine’s Cook Book, 1977, First Edition, First Printing: Recipes from Lovely book put together by Miss Delphine’s children after her passing, from small scraps of paper, crumpled up note cards, and newspaper fragments, many of them rescued from an old footlocker. Hard cover with dust jacket. Dust jacket has several dings and small tears. Book is in mint condition. Hinges are perfect, binding is sound, pages are all completely clean and clear. Oversized book at 7 1/4″ wide by 10 3/4″ high. 211 pages. (P.S. Miss Delphine’s full name was Delphine Charles Williams, of New Orleans, Louisiana.)
Miss Delphine did lots of entertaining, so she knew the value of dishes you can prepare a day ahead. The editor of this cookbook says that nearly all of these recipes can be prepared ahead.
