Louise’s Florida Seafood Cook Book: Cookbook by Louise Lamme, author of Louise’s Florida Cook Book. We had a copy of the original Louise’s Florida Cook Book. Published in 1968, it’s subtitle was “Both ‘Old-Timey’ and Modern Dishes Including Seminole Indian Recipes.” Lamme must have gotten a little more sophisticated by 1973 when she published this cookbook, but the text is the same chatty, opinionated (in the best possible way,) definite recipes, all for fish or dishes to accompany fish, like hushpuppies or grits. This copy is a first edition, from the 1980 tenth printing. Card stock covers. 48 pages. The charming illustrations are by Louise’s husband, Vernon. Near mint condition. (There are recipes for dolphin.)
