Published in 1895 by Laird & Lee, Publishers, Chicago. 368 tightly-spaced pages, plus a few pages of advertisements. The binding of this cookbook is absolutely firm. Hinges are perfect. The first three or four pages have considerable foxing. All the remaining pages are clean and clear. All are universally and equally tanned.
The book is divided into departments, including Department I: The Druggist; Department II: The Chemist; Department III: Toilet Articles; Department IV: The Household; Department V: All Trades; Department VI: The Farm and Dairy; and Department VII: General Miscellany.
