International Cook Book, Filippini:  The International Cook Book, by Filippini, formerly of Delmonico’s. First published in 1906 by Doubleday, Page and Company and entered at Stationer’s Hall, London. This copy is from the 1911 Doubleday edition. Written by Alexander Filippini with over 3,300 recipes from all over the world, with complete menus for three meals a day for one year. In all his cookbooks, Filippini writes in a charming first person and with loving detail, providing excellent instructions. An enormous book, with 1059 pages and a hard cover.  Hinges are exposed, but holding.  Binding is firm.  Cover has shelf wear, especially at top and base of spine cover.   All the cookbook pages are here, all clean and clear.  Smudge on the front cover.     Price reflects condition.
