Favorite Recipes of the Nebraska Czechs, 1968

Favorite Recipes of the Nebraska Czechs, 1968: Cookbook published by the members of “The Nebraska Czechs of Wilber,” a group that was organized in 1961 to promote and perpetuate the cultural heritage of the Czechs who came to Nebraska in great numbers during the pioneer days. Paperback cookbook with plastic comb binding. 224 pages. Cover has just a bit of shelf wear–mainly chips around the edges. Binding is perfect. Pages are all clean and clear, with the exceptions of pages 34 and 35, two of the cake pages. This is a comprehensive cookbook, with Czech recipes for bread, cakes, candies, casseroles, cookies, desserts, dumplings, gravies, hot breads, meats, pickles, jams and jellies, pies, salads, soups, vegetables, and wild game.

A difficult-to-find cookbook. Great gift!
