American Home Cook Book: A Volume of Tested Recipes, 1932, Grace E. Denison. It isn’t referenced in this copy of the book, but this cookbook was originally published by Barse & Hopkins, New York, in 1913. This copy was published in 1932 by Grosset & Dunlap, Inc. Hard cover book with 537 pages. The cover has lost some of the film coating that originally protected. The cover has shelf wear and a 1″ tear at the top of the spine cover, repaired with clear librarian’s tape. The back hinge has also been mended with clear librarian’s tape. All of the pages are completely clean and clear. This cookbook has a relatively large number of photograph illustrations, some of them in full color. The photos of labor-saving kitchen gadgets are fun, like the “Becky Porter Vegetable Dicer.”
