Key West Cook Book, 1949, Woman’s Club, Key West, Florida: Presumed first edition, first printing, as no other printing is mentioned. Cookbook was compiled by club members and published by Farrar, Straus and Company, New York. Paper cover with plastic comb binding. 303 pages plus blank pages for additional recipes. The Woman’s Club of Key West compiled these recipes from their members. The recipes are in the owner’s handwriting. Attractive art work by various artists is interspersed. Book is good condition with some shelf wear and age tanning to the covers, but it is tight and complete. The illustrations are humorous and and the recipes scrumptious. At least four recipes for Key Lime Pie!
