The book features several stories about children cooking, complete with recipes. This book must have been a gift book, with its elegantly embossed, colorful cover. The paper for the pages is very heavy, cream colored rag stock. Every page has a colorful, woodblock print border. Many of them have wood block print on the corners, and there are over 20 full page, full color illustrations.
This book is in mixed condition. The cover has some shelf wear at the edges. The pages are clear, clean and bright. The binding as a whole is in good shape, except for one folio that’s pulled loose at the base.
