This is one of the few–maybe the only–cookbooks I’ve seen that is arranged by geography. Louisiana is divided into sections, and the recipes are arranged by towns across the state. Each recipe is accompanied by a detailed and quite lovely sketch of a building in that town. An extremely ambitious undertaking. 313 recipes with 313 sketches!
