First edition, first printing of a famous cookbook that has been reprinted many times. Hard cover, 286 pages. The dust jacket of this cookbook has LOTS of shelf wear–it has been taped and torn. The hard back cover, however, is PERFECT. The pages are all clean and clear. The binding is very tight, as are the spine and hinges. All the classic Italian recipes are here, with their Italian names, including many recipes for “variety meats,” or sweet breads. Many, many wonderful sauce recipes.
