Rubens to Rhubarb: The Ringling Museum Cookbook, 1995: Cookbook published by The John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art Foundation, the State Art Museum of Florida, Sarasota, Florida. Soft cover book with plastic comb binding. 240 pages. Cookbook is in excellent vintage condition. It has gotten wet sometime, and some pages are wrinkled. No stains, no tears. It has several full-color plates of the exterior of the Ringling Museum, as well as some of the artwork hanging inside.
Recipes for the cookbook were donated by Helen L. Lawson, a Florida “snowbird” from Stillwater, Minnesota who wintered in Longboat, Florida. The cookbook has menus and recipes for appetizers, soups, salads, meat, poultry, seafood, vegetables, pastas, grains and breads, desserts, pies and cakes, plus cookies and candy.
