Recipe Collection Gamble House, 1987, Pasadena, California: Very difficult-to-find cookbook from the Gamble House, the home of David and Mary Gamble, designed by the architects Charles and Henry Greene. It is a classic California bungalow built in 1908 and maintained in its original state, all completely built and furnished in the Arts and Crafts Movement style. It is now the joint property of the City of Pasadena with the University of Southern California.
This cookbook has a card stock cover with a spiral binding. 165 pages. It has recipes for appetizers, luncheons, picnics, and gifts, plus stunning photographs of the exterior, interior, and furniture of Gamble House. This copy is from the first edition, first printing. It is in as-if-new condition.
