Originally published by MacGibbon & Kee, London, in 1957. This copy was published in 1958 by Alfred A. Knopf, New York. It is a stated first American edition. First edition, first printing. Pages are printed on high quality rag stock paper. Dust jacket is a mess, but it is now safely encased in Mylar. Book cover has has a few dings at the spine cover. The rest of it is in mint condition. Hinges are perfect. Probably never read. Binding is perfect. Pages are completely clean. Book is definitely gift quality.
Don’t read this cookbook if you are hungry. The recipes are exquisite.
