Brewtown Cruisers Wives Cookbook, 1985

Brewtown Cruisers Wives Cookbook, 1985: Cookbook from the wives of the Milwaukee, WI, Mercury car club, for owners of 1949-1950-1951 Mercury cars. (You can see a history of the club here: .) Obviously, the wives of club members were showing their support by creating and selling this fund-raising cookbook. (When I first saw this, I thought it was for a baseball team.) Paper cover cookbook with plastic comb binding. 123 pages plus extra cooking tips. Comb binding is perfect. Pages are clean and clear. Cover has some shelf wear. Cookbook was published by Walter’s Publishing Company, Waseca, Minnesota.

This is a really down home, fun cookbook. Anyone for a sandwich with Spam Sandwich Spread? How about Broccoli-Ham Sling for supper? Or Pizza Meat Loaf? It is a difficult-to-find cookbook. There are no other copies on the Internet.
