Mrs. Manders worked for Mrs. Godden in London and later in an East Sussex village. Manders arrived to aid Mrs. Godden in a entertaining emergency, and she stayed on forever. Part One of the book details their adventures together and includes special recipes. Part Two is 150 recipes, all of them special and all of them clearly outlined and easy to understand.
This is a first edition, first printing copy of a cookbook you will enjoy reading and love cooking with. The cover has a couple of small tears and some very moderate discoloration. It has 178 pages, each one of them clear and clean with no tears, no stains, and no creases. The binding is firm and tight.
