Book in mint condition–as-if-new!  NO dust jacket.  Wonderful recipes for food and beverages from restaurants in France, Italy, Portugal, Switzerland, Austria, Holland, Denmark, Belgium, England, Norway, and Sweden. He visits several restaurants in each country, provides a colorful review of the restaurants, then gives one–often elaborate–recipe from each restaurant, written in a clever, conversational tone. Includes “Word to the Wise on Wines” chapter, as well as an excellent chapter on growing and using herbs.
