Published in 1988 by Simon Schuster, New York. Hard cover with dust jacket. 238 pages. Signed on the back flap of the dust jacket, with a cartoon of the author’s face and the date. Both the dust jacket and the cookbook are in absolutely mint condition. Never used. Definitely gift condition.

A funny cookbook written in the first person, this cookbook features many, many recipes that were literally his mother’s (along with many great deadpan photos of Mama and comical photos of DeLuise.) It also has many recipes from famous people of the 1950s, 60s, 70s, and 80s, people like Mel Brooks, Anne Bancroft, Ricardo and Georgiana Montalban, Merv and Julann Griffin, Carl Reiner, Jack Gilford, Dean Martin, Peggy Mondo, Nancy Reagan, Lori Anderson Burt Reynolds, Frank Sinatra, Dinah Shore, Carol Burnett, and many not-so-famous people. Plus many photos from Hollywood and the DeLuise family history. Not to mention every traditional Italian recipe you’ve ever heard about.
