Here’s How Mixed Drinks, 1941, compiled and edited by W. C. Whitfield, decorated by Tad Shell, and published by Three Mountaineers, Inc., Asheville, N.C. 1941. First edition. (This press did some of the wooden covers for Culinary Arts Press, incidentally.) Charming book! Recipes for highballs, cocktails, party mixes, plus a very handy glassware chart. Humorous illustrations, some making implications about strength of the drink being mixed. Funny quotes, etc. 76 pages, plus blank ones. Deeply embossed and painted wood cover with lovely brass hinges. Excellent vintage condition. Absolutely gift quality!
