The cookbook is divided into geographical regions, so you could use it when traveling. It begins with the Coffee Cup in Pensacola, and ends with the Buttonwood Bar in Sanibel. The book also has lots of useful resources, including a specialized glossary, one-page each discussions of Florida foods like alligators and conch–and including Minoran Specialties, a chronological list of Florida Festivals, and an impressive bibliography.

Stated first edition, first printing, this cookbook is in nearly mint condition. Cover has a bit of shelf wear. The plastic comb binding is in mint, never used condition. All 303 pages are clean and clear. And the record, “I Want to be a Florida Cracker,” is still firmly attached to the cookbook.
