He embarked on a tour of Europe and European hotels and restaurants to provide himself with new, up-to-date material for his broadcasts. The result is this book, filled with clever, conversational text and Lucious, ambitious recipes. The book was published by Henry Regnery Company, Chicago, in 1952. This copy is in excellent vintage condition. There’s no dust jacket. The boards are covered with teal linen, mildly discolored and with a minor bit of shelf wear, especially on the edges of the cover. Front hinge is exposed, but holding.
