Description

Two Copies of Kitchen Tested Recipes, Sunbeam Mixmaster, Both from 1933. One in Mint Condition. Two copies of the Sunbeam Mixmaster (“The King of Food Mixers) booklets that were given to prospective clients by appliance stores. 40 pages each, with lots of Sunbeam advertisements, including one two-page ad in full color. The recipes include cakes and cookies, mashed potatoes, vegetables, etc., icings and frostings, candies, juices, breads and biscuits, pastries, salad dressings, salad and relishes, meat dishes, desserts, and miscellaneous. All of the recipes use a Mixmaster or course.

Here’s my favorite part: “You Needn’t Turn Off Your Radio, When Using Your Mixmaster.” “No crackling noises or static of any kind.”

Both books have textured, heavy paper covers. The dark brown copy is in mint, never used condition. The yellow-brown copy has wear on the cover, including little nicks, The pages are faded, including the two-page centerfold ad. Again, both for this price.
