Description
Tips for Teens by Elinor Williams, 1948, First Edition, First Printing: This is NOT a cookbook. It is a teenage advise book. But it is really a riot and it is in excellent vintage condition. So, I thought some children’s book collector out there might be interested.
Hard cover with NO dust jacket. 96 pages. Cover, binding, hinges, and pages are in as-if-new condition.
Williams gives advise dating advice mainly to young women, but there is plenty of material for the boys, too. Chapters are “It’s a Date,” “Love and Kisses” (including hints on how to physically dodge kisses,)) “Mind Your Manners,” “Look Smoother and Smarters,” “Personality Perk-ups,” and “Parties Are What You Make Them.” Illustrated by Louise Fournier. The illustrations remind me of my subscription to Seventeen Magazine in the 1950s.
