Taste of Milwaukee, 1983, Muses, Friends of the Museum: First edition, first printing (of only 10,000 copies) of a fantastic cookbook put together by the Friends of the Museum and the Milwaukee Public Museum staff. The cover of . the cookbook is a lovely display of Woodland Indian artifacts, each identified and explained in accompanying text. All of the eight cookbook chapters have a two-page pictorial spread introducing the chapter. In the first image, the Soups introduction shows Continental decorative and utilitarian wares.
This cookbook is a hard cover book with a metal comb binding. 187 pages. The cover has a slight bit of shelf wear. The pages are in mint condition. This cookbook is definately gift quality.
