Gold Medal Flour Cook Book, 1910, Washburn-Crosby Co., with Many Additional Recipes

$26.00

Description

Gold Medal Flour Cook Book, 1910, Washburn-Crosby Co., with Many Additional Recipes: 8″ wide by 11″ high booklet with 72 pages.  Published by Washburn-Crosby Co., Minneapolis, Minnesota. Semi-comprehensive cookbook with representative recipes for just about everything that can be cooked or baked with flour.  This is the original, first edition, first printing booklet that was reprinted and widely distributed by Gold Medal Flour, Minneapolis, in 1983.

This cookbook is just in good antique condition.  The cover is stained and worn, as are many inside pages.  The edges of the pages are chipping, and several corners are missing.  It is fascinating, however, because the first owner used it to record MANY recipes clipped from newspapers.  I estimate that at least 100 clippings are pasted on the inside cover, the first page, and pages at the back.
