Description
Daily What to “Eats,” 1933, Lillian Bard, Lancaster, PA. Self-published, 48-page booklet that was self-published in 1933 by Lillian Bard, and sold for 25 cents. She says on the title page, “a book of Master Menus with recipes easily found and followed. It’s Purpose [is] Meal Time made easy.” She doesn’t specifically say how many people the menus will feed, but believe me, it’s a lot!
This rare self-published booklet is in excellent antique condition. There is some minor doodling on the cover, and its original owner signed the front page in ink. There’s a recipe for creamed cabbage written in pencil on the back page. Stapled binding is holding well. Pages are all clean and clear. No other copies listed anywhere on the internet. (You will love the recipe for Flapper Salad.)
