Woman’s Home Companion Cook Book in Near-Mint Condition: Vintage cookbook with an introduction by Dorothy Kirk. Published by Garden City Publishing Company, Inc., New York. Copyrighted in 1942. This copy was published in 1946.  Yes, you thought it has a cream-colored hard back cover.  When this edition was published, Collier used these black fabric-covered boards. Hard cover, 951 pages.

This copy is in near-mint condition. Cover is nearly perfect with just its corners bumped. All the pages are clean and clear.  The binding is sound.  The hinges are intact. There’s not even a signature on the fly leaf!
