All are clear and clean, and uniformly tanned at the edges. The binding is tight. The hinges are in good shape. The cover is even perfect at the edges and the corners. This cookbook is just like new. H. P. Hood & Sons was founded in in 1846, and they have been publishing cookbooks since they were first founded. They also sent out monthly newsletters to subscribers, and the newsletters had recipes that the subscribers could cut out and place in their cookbooks.
