Gold Cook Book, 1947: The Gold Cook Book by Master Chef Louis P. De Gouy. This copy is from the first edition, a 1964 later printing, published before De Gouy’s death. Published by Greenberg Publisher, New York. Hard cover with a partially tattered dust jacket. 1256 pages. Introduction by Oscar of the Waldorf-Astoria. Excellent vintage condition. Cover shows some minor shelf wear, especially at the corners. Pages are spotless. Binding is solid. Front hinge is perfect. Back hinge is exposed, but holding, and it has been reinforced with clear librarian’s tape.
