Description
Drinking for Love: A Bachelor’s Guide, 1966, Allen Schwartz. First Edition, First Printing. About a 50 pages paperback booklet published by the Pisani Press, a division of the Pisani Publishing Company, San Francisco. Complete guide to seducing a woman, starting with preparing your apartment and going on to discuss things like the importance of the correct glassware. The bulk of the booklet is devoted to cocktail recipes, recipes for “anecdotes and nostrums” or hors d oeuvres, and what I imagine are fanciful stories of the writer’s conquests.
This book, like most paperbacks, as some superficial shelf wear, especially at the page edges and the edges of the cover. All the pages are clear and clean. The stapled binding is completely sound. This is a first edition, first printing copy that is in excellent antique condition. (It wasn’t published un hardback.) The recipes are really excellent. I have no idea if the romance tips work.
