Free Hand Cooking, Foot Hills Art Center, 1970, Denver, Colorado.  Contains short biographies of Colorado artists and their favorite recipes. Elaborately produced, with double-sized pages unfolding to show pictures of   each of 12 artists along with samples of their art work.  Included in the cookbook is an invitation to an autograph party and reception for the cook book artists and contributors, on December 6, 1970 at the Foothills Art Center, Golden, Colorado.  Cookbook was printed by A. B. Hirschfel Press, Inc., Denver, Colorado, 1970. 56 pages.  Plastic comb binding.  First edition, first printing.

This cookbook is in as-if-new condition, with the exception of the signatures of 11 of the artists, including Hal Shelton, Clive O’Leary, Frederick Van Twente, Ron Waelchli, Don Coen, Rita Derjue Zimmerman, Susan Arndt, Jean O’Brien, Buffare diAvolo Azcchera, Joan Pechman, and Jackie McFarland.  Several of these artists became quite well known.  This is apparently a rare copy of this cookbook, no other being found on the Internet.
