American Menu Maker Restaurant Recipes, 1934, G. L. Wenzel: I think this is the first volume of what became Wenzel’s Menu Maker. Heavy boards are covered with black linen and the title paper is glued onto the front of the book. Cover has shelf wear, especially at the edges and corners. Binding is secured with screws. Page dividers are here, with tabs that are rounded and frayed. Many pages have small penciled checks in the margins, and all the pages are uniformly tanned. With the exception of the checkmarks, all pages are clean and clear.
