Prince’s husband suffered a heart attack, so she went to work creating recipes without  butter, shortening, lard, margarine, mayonnaise, whole milk, cream, whole eggs, whole milk cheeses, sucrose, saccharin, salt, pepper, soy sauces, baking powder, bleached flour, pasta made with eggs and salt, most nuts, fatty meats, salted fish, duck, frozen foods, canned foods, corn starch, coffee, and tap water.
